This book is dedicated to anyone who, in spite of all odds, chose to face Goliath in an unequal fight as David did, since going to court turned out to be the last resort for all those who resolved to take the matter in their own hands. According to conservative estimates, there are over thirty thousand Swiss-franc cases to be heard in courts in Poland. There are about 450 thousand loan contracts in Poland in legal circulation. Fortunately, a light in the tunnel appeared after the Constitutional Court and the CJEU gave judgments finding such contracts invalid – which is encouraging and restores our confidence in the justice system. In 2020, Swiss-franc borrowers (Frankowitzes) finally won over 90 per cent of court cases.
